Young golfer preparing for significant competition

The rising star maintains impressive social media presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent supporters as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa practically told me to play and have fun," she explained.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

However she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He is the best player globally," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, specifically among the next generation.

Kai has substantial online presence and has started her own clothing and lifestyle label.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
